Advantages.

Shortcoming.
1. Speed up.
It is true that turbocharging can increase the power of the engine, but it also has many disadvantages, the most obvious of which is the lag of power output response. Due to the slow response of the inertia of the impeller to the sudden change of the throttle, that is to say, there is a time difference between the time when you step on the throttle to increase the power, to the time when the impeller rotates to press more air into the engine to get more power. Generally, the improved turbocharging takes at least 2 seconds to increase or decrease the engine power output.
2. Acceleration problem.
With the progress of technology, although various manufacturers using turbocharging are improving the turbocharging technology, because of the design principle, therefore, the driving feeling of a car with a turbocharger is different from that of a car with a large engine.
3. Few opportunities to start.
After supercharging, the pressure and temperature of the engine during working are greatly increased, so the engine life will be shorter than that of the same displacement without supercharged engine, and mechanical properties and lubriion performance will be affected, which also limits the appliion of turbocharging technology in the engine to a certain extent. Therefore, timely cooling of the cylinder is a major problem that needs to be broken through.
